Unlocking hospitality growth

Staff Training Presentations

To train hospitality staff, Growth strongly believes in the concept of presenting training content via an interactive way of combining visual and auditory pieces (photos, videos, interviews etc.) with in-depth knowledge and experience from the educator. A Powerpoint presentation on itself can be – simply put – a collection of data. Growth elevates the presentation of data by:

– using inspiring photographic materials and graphic materials for the visual learners;
– using interviews and videos for auditory learners;
– highlighting meaningful facts that inspire staff to develop their knowledge and understanding of the topic;
– connecting facts and subtopics (soil, climate, geography, etc.) to get a comprehensive understanding of the topic and/ or region;
– using first hand-experience and knowledge to back the facts and leaving plenty of space for questions and interactions with the audience (so the presentation is more of a conversation than a lecture).

Please see below an example of staff training material.

First-hand experience gained by travelling, observing the landscape, listening to the growers and winemakers, asking questions and being inspired by the work in the vineyard and winery.
This view has inspired me and is a fond memory of the Great Western – gum trees, blue/ white skies and native birds chirping.
